Man's mind vs. Woman's mind

After a slightly hilarious conversation this evening on the differences in how boys and girls think, I opened up my Facebook and saw this.

I smiled. Big.

:) :) :)

  1. I think if guys are really honest with themselves, they actually are more like the bottom than the top.:) I know I sure am.

    1. Oh, it depends a lot on the guy, I fluctuate more than the top for sure, but not near so much as the bottom, other guys are really stable, all depends on the guy, or girl for that matter. This is funny anyway :P

    2. I would agree with Flame, David. I think it really depends on the person......that was an over-generalization, I guess :) I just thought it was funny :)

But I do believe that women have a much harder time with their emotions than guys do. On a whole.

    3. Maybe you're right. :) Maybe I am weirder than I thought. :D

    4. You're not weird...you're YOU! And perfect just like you are :)

I wasn't trying to say you were an oddball emotional guy. A lot of guys do stuff emotion as not "tough". But overall, women tend to be more emotional.

      IMHO :)

  2. I know of a few guys who feel their emotions pretty keenly. It also has to do with how one is raised, I reckon too. My brothers don't show an enormous amount of emotion when something moves them, mainly because my Dad doesn't either (except for rare occasions). I don't think the post meant that guys simply don't think or feel as my as women do, it's just that they do it differently. Men tend to take things on face value as black and white more so than women. For example -

A man once testing the differences in how men and women think. When he and his wife visited a couple they knew, he asked the guy over the grill where he bought the sausages from. The guy told him where. At the table, he asked the wife where she got the sausages from. "What's wrong with them?!" she immediately asked, worried. She was concerned because she was trying to be a good host. The difference is how one took the question on face value, the other sought hidden meaning.

Yeah, so... Averanalytical lengthy comment there. XD

    1. That's exactly it....along the same lines, women personalize things much more than guys, too. Which leads to more emotions :)

  3. I would say, even though you may not want to hear my comment, the following. Every person is different. As an extreme generalization these two charts are basically accurate, as a character study reference sheet, ignore them. I know women that are the top one, and I know men that are the bottom. And everyone will react differently depending on who they are, what they've been through that day, the day before, the year before, and their whole life. How you processed information, events, and people six years ago will effect how you think about them today. Lisa will react differently than David because she's been through different things in her life, even though they may be extremely similar in personality and belief system. It's not just a "boy vs girl" world out there, it's "average response vs. you".
