“Never forget what Jesus did for you. Never take lightly what it cost Him. And never assume that if it cost Him His very life, that it won't also cost you yours.”

Shooting Today!!!

So.....yes, I went shooting today. Normally, I really don't like going shooting because I am afraid of guns and they are so loud. But, my mom said that I need to get more comfortable with handling them, so...long story short, I went.

I actually had fun! I have no idea about the names of the guns except for that the only one I like was a lever action 22. The other guns I call "the big one," "the crazy one," "the loud one," and, "the one I like." There was one huge gun that Jessie liked shooting, but it kicked like crazy and her shoulder is really bruised!!!

This shooter keeps pet worms in his hair. And, you know, many animals are scared of gunshots and these worms were no exception. Each time a loud explosion occured, one of the pet worms would fly off his head. Finally, I was able to get a picture of one doing so.
The girls shooting below don't own any pet worms...only miniature horses, and they don't keep those in their hair!!!

This is "the gun I like!"

Light of the Stable

Last night, we had some wonderful friends over and started practicing some Christmas songs for the recital in a couple weeks. This is "Light of the Stable" after practicing it all afternoon. This is not the finished version.....it's a little rough :)

The captions are because Sabrina kept turning the volume up on the piano, and I was trying to turn it down. Then we were laughing so hard that we couldn't sing!

I will post the finished version after the recital.

Christmas Parade

Saturday night was the huge Fiesta of Light Electric Light Parade!!! It was so fun and there were SOOOOO many people. I am making a movie and I will post it when finished. Here are a few shots.
